What IPTV providers work with Loungr?
Any provider that gives you a standard M3U playlist and XMLTV guide URL. That covers the vast majority of IPTV services. Xtream Codes logins also work.
Do you provide channels or content?
No. Loungr is software only. We don't host, aggregate, or resell any channels, streams, or video. You connect your own IPTV subscription.
Will my channel guide show episode names and descriptions?
Where your provider's guide is missing details, Loungr fills in episode titles, season/episode numbers, and descriptions from a professional TV-listings source we maintain. You get cable-quality guide data on top of an IPTV feed — without setting anything up.
Do I have to clean up channel names or hunt for logos?
No. Loungr strips the prefixes and suffixes most providers tack onto channel names (US|, HD, [USA]) and matches logos automatically. Your guide looks like a TV guide, not a spreadsheet.
Can I pause and rewind live TV?
Yes. Every channel has a 2-hour rewind window — pause for dinner, jump back to the start of a show, scrub forward. No "catch-up channel" hunting; it just works.
Will my settings follow me to another TV?
Yes. Profiles, favorites, watch history, and language preferences sync from your account. Pair a new TV, sign in, everything's there. No backup files, no rebuilding favorites by hand.
What happens if my IPTV provider changes credentials?
Update them once in your dashboard. Every TV on your account picks up the new info on its next sync — no reinstall, no fiddling with each device.
Why does my stream buffer sometimes?
Buffering almost always comes from your IPTV provider's server load or your home network — not the app. If a provider's having a rough night, that's an upstream issue we can't fix. The good news: switching to another channel or another provider in your account is one remote click away.
What about 4K and surround sound?
Whatever your IPTV stream carries, Loungr will play. We don't transcode or downgrade — if it's 4K with 5.1, you get 4K with 5.1 (assuming your TV and receiver are along for the ride).
What hardware do I need?
Loungr runs on a small Linux box connected to your TV. We support running it on hardware you already own, or you can buy a pre-configured device from us at cost.
How many devices can I use?
Your subscription includes one streaming device. Add more anytime for extra each. No limit, no commitment.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Your service runs through the end of your current billing period.
